I've been thinking on this lately, how much bigger we are simply for loving. How in the act of holding space for others we transform ourselves, enhancing our capacity to feel in all directions: heartbreak and worry, empathy and above all that deep, tranformative love. Sometimes anxiety, uncertainty? Certainly joy. Making sense of these is another work (for now or later) but how thankful we are for the opportunity, for the moments gifted into our hands whether open or closed.
Our hearts flutter with life as we offer our meagre selves up to service, to those we hold nearest, at the every day call to go deeper still. It is what we were built for.
