To me, family photography isn’t a product, and it shouldn’t be something cheesy or or embarrassing. Good family photography is an artform that holds a torch to the wonder of ordinary life; the joy but also the tears. It’s not for anyone else, it’s for you. It’s one of the few things you will treasure for your whole life, and worth the investment, in both time and money.
There’s an incredible Maggie Smith poem (I also believe in poetry) about how the world has good bones and is just waiting for us to make it beautiful. I believe in family love the way most Melburnians believe in AFL, and my photography work is my small offering towards making this world more beautiful.

My 4 kids and husband and I, we are adventurers - loud, strong-willed and busy. We grow veggies and make travel plans and clink our glasses by the fire. My favourite place is wherever I am right now. My coffee table is covered in art books and interior design mags, my walls are full of pictures, and my head is full of ideas. My favourite word is ‘Yes’.
